Hey! I’m Tony - thanks for coming to my website!

In my dayjob, I bring novel hardware to life. I’ve worked in scaling up medical device manufacturing, QA testing project management software, and leading hardware development projects. I also worked in business development for an engineering consultancy, working to find and sign client projects, in particular in the mining-tech space. You can see my resume on my LinkedIn, along with projects I’ve done in my Portfolio.

I organize the annual Hardware Unconference that brings together Vancouver’s best hardware engineers for a day of sharing experience and learning from one another.

I’m trying to make connections between folks in hardware development to help bring great new inventions to fruition faster and easier. If you’re looking for folks with a particular skill set, or trying to find a group working on a problem you’re excited about, drop me a note! Happy to help however I can. You can reach me through any of the platforms listed in my Find Me Online page.

I’m excited about how we can solve technical problems to improve people’s lives. In particular, the falling cost of energy and capabilities of AI open up lots of opportunities in automation. I write about these sorts of topics that interest me from time to time on Twitter/X and in the Writing section.
